The Rapper Paid his dues in New Yorks' Underground Rap scene performing over two hundred times at open mics, showcases, battles and every where in between to make a name for himself. Performing at clubs like "SoulCafe", "Club Speed", "The Remote Lounge", and performing for the Coast Guard. He toured around the United States with Grammy Award winning Recording Artist and Guitarist -"Vernon Reid" & D.J Logic, as well as hoping on a track with Rap Legend "Slick Rick" on their album "Front end Lifter. Cane was one of the few rappers picked to perform in the first ever "Bronx Fest" with Hot 97 and power 105 in attendance, opening up for "Showbiz and A.G". Along with being on Mixtapes from DJ Vlad , "Bedtyme 357" and Coast2Coast Mixtapes. His story was picked up by Canada's "Peace Magazine" as well as online magazines "Juniors Cave", Music notes ,The Southern mix etc..
In 2005 he was approached with a two year licensing deal. In 2006 He was on a HipHop compilation titled "Staten island Stand up" hosted by DJ G9D. In 2007 he released his single on Mekanizm Productions. In 2008 He's on DJ Vlad's Mixtape "Rock Star Blends Vol. 2". In 2009 He's Featured on the Mixtape titled "the unholy union" featuring HipHop artist "The Game" and "Don Demonio". . In 2010 Cane Murphy is Featured on Several Mixtapes, including Mixtapes Hosted by "DJ Khaled", Coast2Coast Mixtape 115, and DJ Smoke "Showcase 75" Mixtape. After surviving a tragic accident and reconstructive spine operation, Cane Murphy is Now putting out his Debut Album "The Side You Don't See" July 29th, 2010 with production from "Rockwilder" and "Mr. Porter". In 2011 Cane dropped his Debut Video "When I'm with You".

Cane Murphy's Inspirational Story
If you looked at the life of a kid who was dragged to bars, horse racing tracks and gambling bookies at the age of 10 by his father on the weekends, during a custody battle, while growing up with a single mother struggling to get by on welfare in section 8 housing and getting raised by the streets. Then fast foward to Cane's out of control life style of drinking bottles of liquor, pulling of pranks, cutting out of school and playing ball in every chance he got, venting through Graffiti, getting into beef with crews, high speed chases with police and Losing close friends to drugs and tragedy. Then Giving up everything in life , stepping into the Underground of HipHop, battling MC's everywhere he went , Beatboxing and Freestlying in cyphers all over the Streets of New york. Stepping on stage at open mics and showcases battling for respect, gaining recognition and making a name for himself in the Rap Game for the next ten years.
Finally after hundereds of performances, mixtape spots and interviews, getting noticed by a A&R from Universal , who saw him perform at a club late night in Harlem N.Y and said "I havent' heard a true lyricist since KRSone and Rakim", who afterwards sets up a meeting and wanted Cane aka. Redrum to start ghost writing for artists. then when it seems all the blood sweat and tears payed off, a Tragic accident stopped his career in its tracks and turns his life upside down. He Fought through horrible 24 hour pain and depression to hit the studio and finish recording his debut album. He invested his life savings ($20,000) his debut album and videos. Now trying to overcome tremendous odds against him, Cane is facing a very dangerous second operation before getting back to touring.
